Payment for Lots Purchased
A. Return bid form only with bids entered. A proforma invoice will be sent. Lots will be dispatched to you after payment is received. Time should be allowed for cheques to clear for those clients not well known to us.
B. A cheque can be made out for the full amount of a bid (or spending limit). We will dispatch lots straight after the auction, together with any balance owing.
C. For approved clients only - we will dispatch the goods with an invoice to be paid within 10 days (unless other arrangements have been made previously).
D. Direct payment to Post Office, Giro, Bootle, Lancs, - Account No. 454104200. Foreign bidders should note that there is a £3 clearance charge.
E. By credit card (American Express cannot be accepted) - 2% charge.
OUR GUARANTEE. As our auctions are mainly postal, and most lots purchased by clients who have not viewed them, we offer a complete satisfaction guarantee. If a lot is found to be unsuitable it must be returned immediately. We do not want any client to feel they have to keep a lot they are not happy with. Although we must point out to clients who continually return lots, with fair reason, they will be removed from our mailing list. You will find that we are fair and straightforward to deal with, offering stamps at much lower prices than many dealers, backed up with a quick, reliable service. Problems that may occur are quickly sorted out to your satisfaction.
IF YOU ARE SELLING YOUR STAMPS. If you wish to dispose of part, or your entire collection, we can buy at top prices with immediate cash settlement. This way you pay no commission. If you prefer, we will place your stamps in one of our future auctions and offer them in suitably priced lots. Payment is longer this way due to lotting up, printing and waiting for payment from the buyer etc. Lots valued below £10 cannot be accepted (settlement one month after sale).
COMMISSION RATES.
Up to £50 realisation - 20% plus VAT on commission.
£50 to £500 - between the two rates depending on quality and quantity.
Over £500 realisation - 12.5% plus VAT on commission.

PHONE, FAX AND E-MAIL BIDS. Telephone, facsimile and e-mail bids are accepted at any time preceeding the sale, but on sale days up to 12 noon only.
